We aim to respond to all referrals within 2 working days, by giving you a call. Sometimes we do get busy, so if you haven’t heard within 4 days please call us to check we’ve received it ok. The specialists, as they are fully funded (with a referral), often have a longer wait. We try to keep the maximum to 4-6 weeks. The other doctors can usually be seen much sooner (usually within 3-4 days) and can be booked without referral, but are only part subsidised.
No. You can phone right now and get booked in with one of our doctors even if you’ve not seen anyone already. They can register an ACC claim for you at the time if appropriate.
Please let us know at least 24 hours before by phone or email. Note although ACC subsidises consults, they pay nothing if you do not attend. Therefore we do have a non-attendance policy.

All of our practitioners are qualified to treat your injury or medical issue. They all practice in different ways. Our Specialists have completed their specialist training through ACSEP. Our other doctors are experienced in Sports and Exercise medicine, although not recognised as specialists, most are on the ACSEP specialist training pathway or have completed other specialist training elsewhere.
No. Although we provide Primary Care (ie without referral) we do not register patients or provide long term chronic care.
While we will provide medications for conditions we are treating, we do not do repeats of your usual long term medications. It may seem minor, but all medications need monitoring by someone that has all your records, and this is your GP.
