Early assessment and return to play management
Our doctors are all able to provide assessment and management of acute concussions, and guide you with safe advice on return to sport. They can also refer for imaging or other tests, or for more intensive ACC Concussion Service management, if indicated.
ACC Concussion service
Some of our doctors work closely with the Laura Fergusson Brain Injury Trust and Motus Health providing medical advice and input on more difficult concussion and traumatic brain injury cases. Access for this type of appointment is through referral only onto the concussion service, usually via your GP.
