  • Elbow sprains (eg tennis and golfers’ elbow)
  • Shoulder rotator cuff sprains, bursitis, dislocations, cartilage injuries

  • Back sprains and disc injuries
  • Sciatica
  • Hip and groin sprains, cartilage injuries and impingement syndromes
  • Knee sprains including ACL, MCL, meniscal tears, patella dislocations, patellofemoral syndrome
  • Medial tibial stress syndrome (shin splints), Osgood Schlatter’s and Sever’s disease (“growing pains” in knee and heel)
  • Ankle sprains, fractures, tendon and cartilage injuries
  • Foot sprains, plantar fasciopathy (also known as fasciitis)

EXERCISE PRESCRIPTION

  • We can discuss how your medical problem might be helped by exercise, both in terms of current symptoms and future prognosis.
    Which exercises are safe and effective with your specific condition(s).
  • Examples include cancer, cardiovascular risks and disease (eg high blood pressure, diabetes), mental health problems, arthritis
  • Note for these problems, in order to give the best advice, the more information we have from your doctor in advance, the better
  • We work closely with our neighbours, Motus Sports Hub, who have in-house exercise physiology and mental skills coaching specialists, and can involve them as needed.
